"Just" some photos.

Zeke and Siena, four months apart, and getting soooo big!

A happy little triangle.

Bethany's dad's cousin, Shaun, arrived to town with her wonderful husband, Don; and they all took Luke with them to tour the Jelly Belly factory! Luke was limited to three jelly beans, so saved and savored his last one like it was the final candy he would receive for the rest of his life.

The Jelly Belly day was a rainy day, and rainy days tend to cause the whole family to flock to Bethany's parents' house. So when The Crew arrived home from the factory tour, we were allll there waitin... And here Luke shouts to Don, the photographer: "JELLY BEEEEEAN!!!"

The real street sweeper. Luke wanted to wear his Jelly Belly hat the rest of the day, even in the rain. The top of it fell off completely, being the paper that it was, so he basically wore a Jelly Belly rim around his head.

Special shots of special Zeke with some special people. Grammy.

Train engineer meets firefighter meets bus driver.

Meets WORKMAN.

Hi there, big guy!

This is one of Zeke's favorite positions. Head resting in Mama's hand. Gnawing on her thumb.

Easter eve we spent part of the day exploring the Arboretum. A different section of it than usual. Zeke is excited about the adventure.

Excitement waning, exhaustion setting in...

Excitement mounting, filth setting in...

And he's a goner.

YAWN!

Back to his cute, happy self. Between the hours of 7 AM and 7 PM, Zeke is just the happiest, mellowest, most interactive, grinny little guy. You should all come meet him now. Before separation anxiety sets in, before free grins are all given away. He's just the cutest.

Well, one of the cutest.

"Mom, get him AWAY from me!!!"

This week Zeke got to meet Colby! (Bethany's friend who taught fourth grade with her in Esparto.) Colby spent a few hours of a typical Monday with us: "walking" (stopping at everything), searching for bunnies, climbing mud hills, etc.

Tummy time on Daddy. "Heeey, Dad, quit laughing at me!" This is Zeke's typical look. But when he gets eye contact, watch out. His face cracks open into the sweetest grin.

Luke has been very into drawing lately, and has even learned to draw people! (Well, heads with legs.) It is fun to draw the basic shape of something and to tell him to add accessories. He is very good at picturing what things are supposed to look like, and tries very hard to "write," eyes a few inches away from the paper, writing teeny tiny circles.

Trying to get a handsome smile to show Ya-Ya the new shirt she gave him!

Shirt? Who needs a shirt?

Tucked under the dresser is our sweet little Moses basket. Arrived in the corner of our bedroom is the portacrib that Bethany (and probably a few other Sorbello kiddos) slept in as a baby. (That's the rumor, anyway.)

Sometimes Zeke still gets to sleep on the bed. Bethany left the room and asked Sarah to "babysit" sleeping Zeke. She came back and found this.

(For how could she resist him?)

The last toothless shot we may ever have of our Zeke. Two little bulges and white lines have emerged on his bottom gums... :-( Teeth.

Daddy is the popular man in Orchard Park among the sandchildren, which makes Luke the popular boy. No one digs holes quite like Richie does.

Richie's popular among his own clan, too.

Luke's handsome smile for Ya-Ya again...

CAUGHT!

Payback.

Just catching up on the two new postings. So many great pictures! It's amazing to see how much Zeke has grown in the last two months. In a year the boys will be running down the sidewalk together. Bros.
Hello Richie and Bethany! Might I say you have a lovely blog here :) I check it on occasion (Mandie links me here from time to time) and it's nice to how see things are going with you guys. Your kids are adorable and are getting so big. I hope one day I can have a family as loving and happy as yours. :-D
Great pix! Love it that you caught Luke biting Zeke... ha ha! Wonderful close-ups of the Zekester, great brother shots, and the one of the three cousins in a head-triangle!
