Highlights
Richie is recovering well, still bound to his wheelchair and walker, but gaining mobility and in less pain every day. Highlight of his week: A ride in the motorized cart at Wal-Mart. It was like Nascar compared to everything else he does these days.
Bethany is dying a long, slow death of a disease called Sleep Deprivation. Highlight of her week: Luke took a two-hour nap. (She kept checking in on him to be sure he was still alive.)
Luke came down with a mystery illness after Richie came home from the hospital. Who knows what he caught hanging out with his parents all day in the emergency room. Scary thought. Sleep was nil, screaming was much, and his mommy tried hard to keep from going crazy. All better now, though, and back to his cute, fun, wiggly, hilarious self. Highlight of his week: Hanging off of Daddy's walker.
We finally nabbed a picture of Luke giving the "lower lip." (Thanks, Sam.) See what awful treatment Shiloh had to endure? He's over it now, and usually gives a Dopey-like grin to strangers.
Richie got to spend his first Father's Day in a wheelchair. At least he could still play bocce...
When Luke had his fever, we kept him cool with a wet washcloth dangling on his head.
Luke pays a visit to his old Moses basket.
He has eyes for Uncle Richard's ice cream! Not yet, Luke, not yet.
Hanging out with Dad.
He's eating lots these days...
Bethany's college roommates met up in Davis this past weekend. Here, Harmony, now a veterinarian up in Mt. Shasta, holds Lukey.
Jennie, now a Deputy District Attorney for Santa Barbara County, watches Luke carefully to see if she can press charges.
How cool. A toy attached to your own body, to suck on, chew on, grab. (It's called a foot.)
Luke stood on Dad's walker, gripped it like a little monkey, and Bethany let go. He could have stayed there for hours.
Check out his basketball uniform. Ready to play... 11PM...
Look. He needs a training bra.
Munch.
Photo shoot out front, while Mommy naps. (Thanks, Grammy, Shi, Sam, and whoever else watched Luke while Bethany slept!)

Love the pic w/Trouble..so cute! Sleep deprivation is no way to go out and at such a young age-get my mom to watch him for an afternoon and get some sleep! :)(Yes mom I volunteered you.)
Sweet, sweet pictures. Funny "boy-bra" pic (boyra? babybra?). And yes I'd be happy to look after him. I need my baby fix since I can't be with Alexander!
