So many pictures...
So little time to post them on the blog.
Smoosh, smoosh.
Luke coos along as his mommy one-handedly plays the piano.
Must've hit a wrong note...
This ain't no classical, folks... we're talking boogie woogie! Get up on those feet and dance!
Luke's hands have been diving into his mouth, a very naughty thing to do with the medicine treatment he has to be on. So we covered them right up with socks.
"Me? Suck my fingers? Never!"
We love his hand dimples. And we also love his bib, which serves as a barrier between his hand and his mouth. (Although one day he figured it out and angrily swooped his hand up to pull back the bib. It was so impressive that we let him enjoy the fruits of his labor and suck on his hand.)
Our first overnight trip with the baby. Let's just say it was... "interesting." In the one hour Richie went to surf, the baby pooped all the way through his onesie, through his pants, up his back... So there Bethany had to change him in the beach parking lot, naked freezing purple goosebumped boy screaming while being changed atop a big plastic rubbermaid lid. At least our hotel room was beautiful, with an ocean view, 20 steps from the beach. The room was bigger than our whole apartment. And Luke found the environment veeeery relaxing, as you can see here.
Post-bath wigglefits. (Luke has been into wiggling and flailing all limbs simultaneously at lightning speeds, with fast breaths and an intense look on his face, whenever we place him on his back. He seriously wiggles so hard that it often has us crumpled on the floor laughing hysterically.)
All smiles for the camera.
Yes, Luke loves to be naked. But we are determined not to fill his album with the same plethora of nudie shots that fill our own baby albums. (The inevitable result of being born to parents who lived through the hippie era.)
Just waking up.
Veeeery groggy in the morning.
Slowly coming to life.
Kapow!
We were delighted to have Richie's mom with us for the past weekend, along with the newest member of our family, Tony. Here Gramma holds Luke after his horrible injection of banana medicine, this time not just all over the bib, but all over the mouth and forehead as well.
Despite his age, Trouble remains as handsome as ever. Don't want to forget about the beloved doggie amidst all this baby hype...
Bethany's dad and Tony BBQ it up in the back yard. Men unite over meat.
Whoa, whoa, whoa!
This is how much Luke enjoys his carseat. Anyone want to ride with us anywhere?
Mr. Bigboy sits with his daddy on the couch. (Welcome home, Luke!)
Techniques to make the baby happy continue to get more creative. Here, Richie zooms around the living room, dragging Baby along. Luke loved it. (Not so sure dizzy Daddy did.)
Luke has made a new friend named Buddy. Buddy looks eerily like himself, and he is a faithful companion, smiling when Luke smiles, crying along with Luke when Luke cries, even laughing when Luke laughs. What a pal.
Lo and behold! Buddy opens his mouth right when Luke does.
A great friendship is blooming.

I can always count on a good time reading your blog. Thank you. Love the newest pictures of Luke.
By the way, I think the hand socks are really just puppets that need their mouths and eyes...
:)
The pics in the towel are so cute, he looks just like a Gerber baby! :)
Luke's now a celebrity in Indonesia!
A couple of my staff caught me checking your blog. A few minutes later nearly the entire office was gathered around my laptop oooooing over handsome Luke!
