Full Term
Today Bethany hit the 37-week mark, officially full-term according to doctors these days. So that means POP!--the baby could come any time now (though probably not for 3 more weeks) (or more than that if he/she really likes it in there).
Milestone this week: We got a crib. Cheap. Small. Simple. IKEA.

The joys of IKEA furniture: At-home, do-it-yourself assembly. Richie took a study break to assemble the crib. But it turned out being not so much of a break. Note the mass quantities of pegs, screws, nails, you-name-it...

2 hours later, more assembly.

Our friends Taylor and Kelly had their baby girl, Shealyn, 5 months ago. Every time we see her we get happier about this baby of ours! If she only knew how cute she is...

Wow. Pop time! We can't wait!
Woo Hoo!
I feel Richie's home-assembly pain. Note for men doing home assembly: What matters is not how many screws, nuts, bolts, and other fasteners and devices that are used but, rather, how many are left over once you think you've completed the assembly.
Dad and Mom (Mom is often my assembly helper who really could do a better job than I can but carefully avoids letting on to the fact)
How about another belly shot?
I second that! Want to see how big Bethany's gotten!
i say "dad and mom" accurately label who's realllly writing the blog comment - i'm having trouble deciphering which comment was from mom and which was from dad. haha, jk obvi. as long as you pop before i have to come to davis myself in january with a thumbtack and pop you myself, i'll be happy.
I can't wait to hear from you guys after the baby is born! Thinking of you!
Emily (ex-roomie:)
