Luke's vocabulary is tremendous, yet very few people can actually understand what he says. It is really sad and yet so dear and cute, all at the same time.

Two-year-old + bedroom + aloneness + silence = mischief! Usually. This particular time, when Luke disappeared into his bedroom and not a peep was heard, he was quietly playing with his cars. When Bethany popped her head in to check on him, he told her he was putting surfboards on top of the car. Indeed!


Electric toothbrush, Old MacDonald hand puppets, and cordless phone. What more does a boy need? And my, how his legs can bend!


We had a very, very fun visit from Leticia and her kiddos last week! They came to play in "Luke's" park, and all the kids had a great time.


Neither Luke's crush nor Tia's non-crush was very subtle.


WOW, something really serious is going on here.

Richie's working on Saturdays on campus means two really fun things for Bethany: 1. She has access to a car, and 2. She can go spend all his money. This weekend she toted the boys and Sarah to a garage sale and scored a scooter for the Luker. Poppy came to pick up Sarah and had to show him how it's done.






Poor Zeke still gets pushed around every which way. No scooter for him just yet. First step: learning how to defeat The Hunch.


Man on a mission: There's fabric to eat!


Cheesy mom bought matching t-shirts for the guys, and cheesy mom made them all wear them on the same day, and cheesy mom made them pose for a picture. Anyone else out there who's cheesy and thinks it turned out cute?


Saturday night: Zekers sucked the daylights out of peaches. And woke up way too many times during the night from gas. <:-\ Sorry, buddy!


Luke got invited to a movie party at friend Eli's house, but had to leave early. The consolation prize was getting to take home one of Eli's Thomas the Tank Engine DVDs. Luke has never enjoyed movies before. But this one, he was glued to! And Bethany finally realized how every other mom gets makeup put on and the house tidied. DVDs. The movie sucked him in until the music got spooky and the scene got dark. "SCARY! OTT!" Too scary. Had to turn it off. That was the end of that. No more makeup. No more clean house.
