Birthday Time!

Luke turned 2 weeks old yesterday. Woo woo. Wish we could have fed him cake and ice cream for the celebration, but we stayed on the safe side and fed him...

You guessed it. Milk.

He is officially getting chubbier, occasionally sporting a triple chin. We love it.

Luke has had many visitors and many photo shoots with his newly met friends, but we despaired to discover he has no good shots with his beloved Grammy. She's the one bathing him, making him smile, and making him stare ever-so cutely, so we get the close-up shot of him and all we see of Luke's dear grandma is her arm and hand. Although they are beautiful shots of her arm and hand, needless to say, we are in dire need of some good pictures with Grammy. He loves her! (And she's been a lifesaver for Mom and Dad.)

Meanwhile, one day shy of his two-week birthday he got to meet his Auntie Gracie, who flew home from North Carolina. And tomorrow he gets to meet his Auntie Chrissie, flying up from L.A., and his Gramma from cold Winnipeg! What a celebrity. People coming from far and wide... photo shoots... paparazzi shots as he sleeps... Sheesh.

On Sunday, Luke made his debut at church, and then had his first non-drive-through trip to In N Out. Again, all the poor kid got to eat was... Yep. Milk.

Trouble says, "Hey, I'm cute too! Give me some attention, people!" And Auntie Gracie says, "I don't know... Luke might be cuter..."

Trouble replies, "Okay, okay, so we're BOTH cute."

Luke doesn't seem to struggle with insomnia.

Still sleeping.

Yes, still sleeping.

"Thanks, Auntie Gracie, I HATE to be put down!"

Enjoy the sleeping.. because in a little while, he'll awake from his slumber... and then you'll be "putting" him to sleep over and over and over again. Still cute, but can be quite an arm and back breaker. hehehe. Ian can show you some really good bouncing and swaying moves if you want a demo!
